Organist Martyn is back for his recital

There is to be a lunchtimeorgan recital to be held at St Andrew’s Church in Swanwick this week.

Acclaimed young organist Martyn Noble makes a welcome return to the church on Saturday, February 9, for what will be an eagerly-awaited lunchtime recital there.

His programme includes composers such as Saint Saens and Sir William Walton, along with show tunes and there will also be Martyn’s own interpretation of classical organ pieces.

Currently studying at the Royal College of Music, Martyn Noble is now organ scholar at Southwark Cathedral, after a period that was spent at Liverpool Cathedral.

He has also performed at cathedrals throughout the country and with numerous choirs.

Organisers of the performance feel that this recital is sure to be greatly appreciated by lovers of music of every kind.

The recital at St Andrew’s Church in Swanwick is to start at 12noon.

Tickets to see Martyn Noble in action will cost £3.50.
