PIANIST Benjamin Frith will be the guest performer at the next concert to be staged by Matlock Music.
It will be held on Friday, December 2, in the Wheeldon Hall, Highfields School, Matlock.
Benjamin Frith was described as the ‘prodigy of prodigies’ when he won the British National Concert Competition at the age of just 14.
Since then, he has established himself as an in-demand international performer, appearing with some of the world’s finest orchestras and chamber groups.
He also regularly makes recordings and his CDs have received rave reviews for the quality of his playing.
This concert will see Benjamin perform Beethoven, Lizst, and Mussorgsky’s epic and multi-faceted work Pictures At An Exhibition.
