A Christmas charity show in New Mills will celebrate the lives of two men who lost their battle against cancer last year.
Proceeds from the Let The People Sing production will be split between the New Mills Art Theatre Restoration Fund and Blythe House Hospice, Chapel en le Frith.
Song and dance from West End musicals, Disney shows plus pop and Christmas hits will be performed on December 5 in the town’s Art Theatre.
The show will celebrate the lives of Tom Moss, 38, and Dean Morgan, 39.
Tom was born and raised in New Mills, starting his musical career at the Art Theatre. After auditioning for Sir Cameron Mackintosh, he landed the part of ‘Joly’ in Les Misérables which started his professional career in the UK and abroad.
Dean, also New Mills born and bred, loved to take his wife and two boys to the pantos at the Art Theatre and those on stage who knew him, could hear his laughter from the stalls. Blythe House Hospice cared for Dean during his battle with cancer.
