Funhouse Comedy Club returns to The Old Bell Hotel, Derby, on Friday, February 24, for another great night of laughter.

Headlining the night is the amiable Pierre Hollins with his compelling chatty style and absurd guitar posturing.

His ‘songs’ are jokes that rhyme, set to a guitar backbeat and cover topics from love and hate, to sex and politics. With a totally original voice, he delivers his material with charm and irrelevance.

Supporting will be will be the fascinating El Baldinho with his individual style of comedy magic and mind-reading.

Also appearing will be the quietly confident, appealing and quick-witted Ben Briggs, who takes his audience on a hilarious journey with his amazingly funny stories.

Compere for the night will be the vivacious, naturally funny Lou Conran. Having trained as an actress she has appeared on TV and in theatre in the likes of Jo Brand Through the Cakehole (Channel 4) and The Borrowers (national tour).

Tickets are £10 in advance.

Doors open at 7.30pm for an 8.15pm show.
