Mansfield poet and entertainer Andrew ‘Mulletproof’ Graves will be in action at Mansfield’s Create Theatre tomorrow (Thursday, October 15).
Now based in Nottingham, he will be unleashing his brand new one person show in Mansfield as part of an an East Midlands tour.
In his funny yet heartfelt new spoken word show, God Save The Teen, the acclaimed performance poet recounts his past life as a council youth worker, offering tales of drugs, relationships, bullying, parental break-ups, starry-eyed punks and disappearing Goths.
Interwoven through this narrative are his own childhood stories about trying to come to terms with an aloof and difficult single father, who is unsympathetic towards his poetic leanings.
