Patient who tested positive for coronavirus dies bringing Chesterfield total to 15

NHS England confirmed that the patient died yesterday (April 2).
Across the country, there are now 38,168 confirmed cases and 3,605 people have died.

Hide AdThe number of cases globally also passed the 1,000,000 mark yesterday (Thursday, April 2).
The patients were aged between 24 and 100 years old, and 34 of the 604 patients aged between 27 and 92 years old had no known underlying health condition.
Their families have been informed.
One patient of Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS Foundation Trust has also died after being diagnosed with coronavirus.
In the midlands in total, 692 patients have died in total.
Buckingham Palace announced that the Queen has recorded a special broadcast on the outbreak which will be broadcast on Sunday at 8pm.
