A new roundabout, which is specially designed to have room for a wheelchair user to ride on it, on the playground next to the café in Queen's Park was officially opened in 2009 by the Mayor and Mayoress of Chesterfield, Cllr Fred Quayle and Mrs Shirley Boulton and Friends of Queen's Park.
