1. Saltergate multi-storey car park
Chesterfield's new Saltergate multi-storey car park, which only opened in July 2019, was top choice for demolition. Julia Hill called it a "total eyesore", while Christopher Mills asked: "What on earth were they thinking with that design?" Photo: Brian Eyre
2. Northern Gateway Enterprise Centre
It might not even be finished yet, but that didn't stop some readers calling for its demolition, with Robert Warwick calling it an "ugly little office block". Photo: Chesterfield Council
3. Chesterfield Town Hall
Mark Shaw suggested Chesterfield Town Hall, although we're not entirely sure if that was a comment on the architecture or the council itself. Photo: JPIMedia
4. Chesterfield Parish Church
Yes, one reader even suggested Chesterfield Parish Church, the Church of St Mary's and All Saints and its famous Crooked Spire. We're not sure how serious Jamie Irish was when he suggested "the bent church" should be knocked down. Photo: Shutterstock
