Boozy pensioner breaches ASBO for the fourteenth time
Chesterfield magistrates’ court heard on June 7, how Stephen James Cameron Stewart, 66, of Macclesfield Road, Buxton, was boozing in Spring Gardens, on May 21, after he had just been released from prison.
Stewart had been jailed for possessing an open bottle of wine and being drunk in public - which he was banned from doing by an ASBO - and for breaching a suspended sentence.

Hide AdRegarding his latest offence, he pleaded guilty to drinking from a vessel in public but denied being drunk and denied breaching his ASBO by entering Buxton. Stewart was convicted for consuming alcohol from a container in public which he is banned from doing by an ASBO and the two other matters were dismissed. He was sentenced to a six-month community order with alcohol treatment and rehabilitation and must pay costs.
