Derbyshire man jailed for 14 weeks after assaulting police officer

A Derbyshire man has been jailed for fraudulently using bank cards and assaulting an emergency worker.

Reece Wilson, of Coleraine Close in Derby, pleaded guilty to three counts of using a bank card, which had been stolen from a home in Shardlow, on Saturday, January 21.

The 21-year-old also admitted kicking a police officer while they were in custody in Derby on Tuesday, January 24.

He appeared at Southern Derbyshire Magistrates Court yesterday (Wednesday, January 25) and was sentenced to a total of 14 weeks imprisonment.
