Derbyshire residents warned not to fall for fake Rolex scam

Officers confirmed they are investigating reports of fake Rolex watches being sold in Derbyshire on online selling sites.
Over the past five months, it is believed that a number of imitation high-value Rolex watches have been sold to a number of unsuspecting customers across the county.

Hide AdThe force has urged anyone who has bought a Rolex in the past five months from an online marketplace to take the watch to a reputable watch specialist to verify its authenticity.
Anyone who believes they may have been sold a fake watch is asked to contact DC Thor Long by calling Derbyshire Constabulary on 101.
Alternatively, residents can submit information about the scam by messaging police on their Facebook page, Twitter profile or via their online contact form.
Reports can also be given to the police anonymously via independent charity Crimestoppers on their free helpline:
