Bradley Revell grabbed his former partner by the neck and threw her into bushes near the hospital then thrashed her “from side-to-side” - hitting her with her shoes.
The assault came about after Revell, 25, asked his ex whether she had spoken to other men since their separation and she replied “yes”.

Hide AdRevell’s “terrified” former partner had agreed to visit him when he called her from hospital and “begged her to come and see him”.
Chesterfield Magistrates Court heard how after the public attack on November 9 he drove off in a nearby car with his mother.
His former girlfriend later told police how convicted drug dealer Revell had subjected her to a “sustained” beating on another occasion.
Prosecutor Sarah Haslam told the court how earlier in the year - on August 8 when the couple were still together - Revell attacked the mum-of-one - leaving her with black eyes and swelling.

Hide AdA row had broken out at the home they shared when Revell returned home at 1am “covered in blood” while drug and alcohol-riddled, saying he had crashed his car.
His ex, who believed he had been fighting and was angry with him for returning home in a “state”, was “suddenly slapped” repeatedly with his open palms.
Revell then threw her across her kitchen - where she hit her head on a worktop - and stood blocking her escape by the back door.
Ms Haslam said: “He then pulled her phone off her to stop her reporting it to the police and walked off with the phone in his hands.”
