Murderer who absconded from Derbyshire prison is arrested
A convicted murderer who absconded from a Derbyshire prison has been arrested.
John Potter was sentenced to life at Newcastle Crown Court for murder in 2008.
The 52-year-old absconded from HMP Sudbury on Tuesday but was located in Ashbourne this morning (Thursday) and arrested.
Police thanked everyone who shared the appeal to find him.
