Police want to speak to these two men after Mercedes ends up on roof in Derbyshire crash

Derbyshire police are trying to trace two men in connection with a road crash which saw a Mercedes flipped onto its roof.

Officers were called to Portland Street in Derby, at the junction with Pear Tree Crescent, at around 6.40pm on Saturday, May 23.

Police had received reports that a silver Mercedes registration ME03 ZRV and a silver Volkswagen Passat had collided and the Mercedes had ended up on its roof.

There was no one with the Mercedes when officers arrived and the force is releasing these images of two men who were seen in the area at the time of the incident in a bid to trace them.

Witnesses or anyone with information should contact officer in the case PC Katie Chamberlain on 101 or via the force’s website, quoting reference 20*261400.
