Emergency services called after reports of explosion in North Wingfield

Firefighters from Clay Cross and Derbyshire Police responded to reports of an explosion this morning (Friday, April 20).

Alarm was caused by a water leak in a ceiling void.

The crews attended the scene in Williamthorpe Road, North Wingfield, at around 9.30am.

Water and gas have been isolated to the property and the incident has been left with Derbyshire Police.
