Former army man stole biscuits
Andrew Willis, 38, of Fairfield Road, Buxton, pleaded guilty to two charges of theft when he appeared at High Peak Magistrates Court on Monday.
The court heard Willis stole a packet of Hobnobs, to the value of £2.50, from Co-Op on June 4.

Hide AdThe following day, Willis returned to the same store and stole more Hobnobs, milk, and a packet of custard creams, to the value of £4.50.
Willis admitted his crimes to police, claiming he stole the food because he had no food.
Mr Kalyam, defending, said Willis left the army in 2011 after serving for 13 years. Around that time, Willis began using heroin, the court heard.
Willis was sentenced to a 12-month community order and 10 days in rehab. He was also fined £339 and put on a six month drug rehabilitation order.
