FULL LIST: Borough Council’s recommended sites for housing development across Amber Valley
Tempers flared before and during the meeting as councillors and unhappy campaigners showed their dismay at both the decision to only allow 25 protesters into the historic meeting and the feeling that many felt underrepresented in the decision making process, which will ultimately shape the borough for years to come.
The following sites were put forward for recommendation by councillors at last night’s meeting:
Radbourne Lane, Mackworth - 70 homes
Kedleston Road, Quarndon - 400 homes
Chesterfield Road, Alfreton - 300 homes

Lily Street Farm, Swanwick - 600 homes
Derwent Street, Belper - 120 homes
Bullsmoor, Belper - 150 homes
Amber Heights, Ripley - 60 homes
