Loving mum's fundraiser to remember stillborn son George
Lisa Spencer, 44, has organised the day in memory of George, with all proceeds going to Chesterfield Sands – a support group for parents who have suffered the devastating loss of a baby.
The event will take place on Saturday, June 30 at The Six Halts in Clay Cross.

George was born full term but stillborn on July 22, 2008.
Understandably, Lisa said it has taken her years to come to terms with what happened but the 10th anniversary felt the right time to organise an event.
On the day, starting at 11am, there will be stalls, live music, horse and carriage rides, a bouncy castle, a magician, a face painter, balloon modeller and much more.
People are being encouraged to dress in orange – the colour of Chesterfield Sands.

Lisa, who works at The Six Halts, said she has received tremendous support from Chesterfield Sands, her workplace and from many local businesses and ‘can’t thank them enough for all their generosity’.
“They have been absolutely amazing,” Lisa said. “I want to say thank you to all the local community and everybody who has been involved in this event.”
Lisa has gone on to have another child, Harry, who is now aged seven.
Each year Lisa and Harry send balloons up into the sky on George’s birthday and at Christmas.
Anyone who can provide live music and donations for the event should contact ‘The Six Halts’ on Facebook.
