Man arrested in connection with New Mills death
A 73-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving following the death of a man in New Mills.
The 61-year-old victim, who has not yet been identified, was discovered on the A6 Buxton Road, near to Newtown Primary School, at around 1.30am on Sunday.
Police are currently questioning the 73-year-old.
