Chesterfield primary school deliver free packed lunches to pupils in self-isolated households
and live on Freeview channel 276
Headteacher Dave Shaw said that any pupil on free school meals is entitled to a free packed lunch if they are self-isolating with their family due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The lunches are being delivered to homes across the town by the school’s pastoral team.

Hide Ad“Please ring to order by 9.30 am daily,” he said. “I’d also like to publicly thank all the staff at Spire who gave up their lunch time to ensure food could still be served and children supervised.”
Resident Tiff Staford notified the Derbyshire Times about the gesture, saying: “Spire Juniors are delivering dinners to kids that are in isolation to make sure they're fed. Above and beyond that school.”
