Derbyshire Roads Policing Unit tweeted about the incident on the A38 on Monday night.
Officers said: “Drink-driver hits barrier, knocks down a lamppost and then has a close-up experience with the trees.
“Remarkably minor injuries.
“Samples obtained for alcohol analysis.”
