Children, mums, dads and senior citizens competed in running and walking races in which contestants had to flip pancakes while making their way down Main Street.
Excited crowds cheered on the competitors during the spectacle which always features some juicy competition.
The races have been run annually on Shrove Tuesday for at least 60 years and Derbyshire Times photographer Brian Eyre was on hand to capture the event.
