Police search for pensioner missing from hospital

David Shinwell was last seen at the Calow hospital about noon today and is thought to have left on foot.

Mr Shinwell is 5ft 3ins tall, of medium build, with white hair which is balding in the middle.

Mr Shinwell is believed to be wearing a brown leather jacket and may be wearing pyjamas and slippers.

He may be heading towards the Matlock or Darley Dale area.

Anyone who sees a man fitting this description is asked to call Derbyshire police on 101.
