Proms in the Peaks rocked Castleton for charity
Sheffield–based Weston Park Hospital Cancer Charity hosted Proms in the Peaks on Sunday at Losehill Hall YHA, in Castleton.
The Derbyshire Times backed the event, and ran a draw with a top prize of tickets to the show, along with an overnight stay in Losehill Hall Hotel, a luxury hamper donated by Destination Chesterfield and a bottle of champagne donated by Renishaw Hall.

Debi said: “It was such a fantastic prize so I rang my friend up and she absolutely thought it was fantastic. She said she would definitely go again.”
Tina Harrison, deputy director of the charity, said: “It was absolutely amazing.”
She said hundreds of people had attended the event, many of whom had been buying jugs of Pimms and cream teas. The charity was in the process of counting up how much was raised.
