VIDEO: Man killed in Ambergate crash

The male, who has yet to be named by police, was driving a Saab when it was involved in an accident with a Honda and heavy goods vehicle on the A6 at 4.40pm. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

A large stretch of the A6 between Ambergate and Cromford was closed for several hours while an investigation into the crash was launched. It was reopened at about 11.20pm.

Officers are now appealing for witnesses to the incident to come forward.
