Nico DeGirolamo has been in good form so far this season and that form continued into this game as he scored twice for his side.

Along with DeGirolamo, Charlie Dawes, Danny Fields, Kurtis Morley and Mark Bright also found the net for Britannia.

Doe Lea beat Hasland Working Men’s Club 3-0 and as a result they find themselves in second position in the table, Tom McTighe, Luke White and Mark Houghton scoring on this occasion.

Bolsover Town’s 4-1 win over Rangers moved them into second place in Division Two thanks to two goals apiece from Josh Nichols and Joel Searson while leaders Clowne Wanderers Reserves maintained their one hundred percent with a 4-1 win at Brampton Moor Rovers to stay top. Sam Lomas, Alex Sennett, Ryan Bannister and Lewis Price scoring in the victory.

In HKL THREE Green United took on Grassmoor Sports in the division’s only game and lost 2-0, Callum Barker and Andy Woolvern with Sports winning goals.

HKL FOUR leaders Mutton extended their lead at the top to four points after goals from Liam Waller, Aiden Ordidge, Josh Brown and Connor Johnson earned them a 4-2 win at Arkwright Town.

Bottom Club Clay Cross United picked up their first point of the season on the back of a 2-2 draw with Barlow Kingston Rovers for whom Will Eaton and Dave Cameron scored.

The only action in HKL FIVE saw hosts The Gate Inn win 3-2 against Carr Vale United.

Apollo FC are three points clear at the top of HKL SIX following their 5-2 win over Grassmoor Sports Reserves three points ahead of Castle who beat neighbours Palterton Sporting Club 3-0, Ashley Scattergood scoring twice, Lloyd Amissah once. Spartans Reserves game with Newbold Community Football Trust Youth was a close run affair that ended honours even as Castle’s Mark Vine, Gareth Denoven and Ben Hall-Jennings’ goals were equalled by goals from James Byard, Brandon and Callum Barnett for Newbold.
