Jordan Blinco’s brace for Boston United gave the visitors victory over Alfreton Town at the Impact Arena.
A goal in either half from Blinco proved enough despite Joe Ironside pulling one back ten minutes from time to set up a tense finale.
The Reds threw everything at Boston in a grandstand end to National League North game but there would be no late twist as it finished 2-1.
