Weather takes toll on Chesterfield Sunday League

Only five fixtures went ahead in the Chesterfield Sunday League due to the weather.

The only one in HKL ONE resulted in both Newton George and Dragon and opponents Doe Lea taking a share of the spoils as Luke McCaskill scored for George and Dragon, Tom McTighe for Doe Lea.

AFC Newbold end 2020 at the top of HKL THREE following Dan Keenan's twelfth goal of the season which earned them a 1-0 victory over Pilsley Community.

In FOUR Butchers Arms eased past Dronfield Wanderers as goals from Danny Jagger, Billy Braithwaite, Curtis McLeish and Kane White secured them a 4-0 win.

Newbold Community Football Training Youth won the only game in HKL SIX, Ben Burrell, Luke Manville, Aaron Montague and James Byard scoring in their 4-0 defeat of Grassmoor Sports Reserves.
