Proact will host young England side next month

The tournament is part of the Young Lions’ preparations for next summer’s European Championships that will be held on home soil.

England will face Portugal at the Proact on Wednesday 8th November, kick-off 7pm. Ticket details will be announced in due course.

Chesterfield’s newly appointed CEO Michael Dunford says it bodes well for the club’s standing in English football that it has been chosen once again for a youth international.

He said: “We are honoured to be welcoming international football to our stadium once again. It is a clear indication that the Proact is on the football map.

“This match will give the Chesterfield public an opportunity to watch some one of the brightest young talents in the English game in action.”
